The Kingswood Public School P&C meets once a month on the fourth Tuesday of the month during school term, in the Heritage Building Meeting Room from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. We are joined by our Principal, Ms Norma Petrocco or another member of the School Executive Team. Ms Petrocco keeps us up to date with changes concerning the school, Department of Education guidelines and policies, school grounds and business.

We have a valuable team of volunteers who support the P&C in many areas. Our volunteers are parents, grandparents, school and community members. We are thankful for the time and expertise they share. The work of the P&C is only possible because of this active parent involvement.

Events for 2019 include:

Easter Raffle

Mothers Day Stall

Fathers Day Stall

Teacher Appreciation Day

Kindergarten Orientation

Opportunity Class Orientation

Christmas Stall

So far in 2019 the P&C has:

Provided Parent Comfort Packs on the first day of Kindergarten,

Recognised the contribution of the School Crossing Guards to our school community,

Donated $1400 towards the purchase of a new interactive classroom whiteboard, and

Sponsored students representing our school and region at State Carnivals.

PLUSH Pre-Loved Uniform Shop:

Open Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, 8.45am-9.15am.

Families can donate used uniforms in good condition. These are washed, sorted and then available for purchase for $2 per item.

The money that the P&C raises is used to benefit all students, as well as the whole school community.

Whilst it may seem that the main focus of the P&C is to raise money for the school and our children, it is also a great way to engage with others and to foster a close and caring school community of parents, children and teachers. We are always happy for new faces to join us and are willing to hear of new ideas for fundraising and ideas to improve our school environment.
