Kindergarten is an important year of schooling as children formally begin to develop their literacy and numeracy skills. Our passionate school community will support your child's tranisition to primary school and provide them with quality teaching in a caring environment.
Orientation Sessions
There are three orientation sessions each year for Kindergarten students attending Kingswood Public School. Enrol now to register for these sessions.
Best Start Assessment
The Best Start Kindergarten Assessment is a state-wide assessment that helps teachers identify the literacy and numeracy skills which your child brings with them at the beginning of kindergarten. Assessments will be conducted at Kingswood Public School in the first week of school.
Transition Programs
Our Starting School Group and Kingswood Kinders programs operate during Terms 3 and 4 each year. During these programs, students will engage in authentic hands-on learning activities that promote the development and refinement of skills needed for primary school.
Parents will be provided with valuable information about school readiness and kindergarten transition from our current Early Stage One teaching staff.
